Call in the Ravelry

If you've found your way here, chances are you already know about the amazing online wooly collective that is Ravelry. Essentially Pinterest for knitters and crocheters. I of course am a big fan and have FINALLY, finished my latest project, the 'Little Sister's Dress'.

My Version, 'Little Sister's Dress'

I say finally, as I started this before I was pregnant with my daughter (who is now 7 months old) and it was originally intended for my niece who is now 2 years old, and way too big for this little dress! So lucky I had a little girl!

This was my first time using circular needles for their intended purpose and it all came out rather splendidly. I am most proud of the finished product. It's knitted all in one piece, and despite the length of time it took me to complete, it is actually quite simple.

Original Little Sister's Dress From Ravelry

This pattern can be found free on Ravelry. There is such a wonderful online handmade community. Filled with talented and generous people who come up with lovely little patterns like this, and share them with everyone. Awee.
